Help boost your immune system: Carrot and Orange Smoothie

Smoothie is always a good idea. This Carrot and Orange smoothie is a favorite of mine. Carrots are good source of beta carotene and antioxidants while oranges is a good source of vitamin C.

My plan of running this afternoon has been compromise so I did Yoga and a little work in the kitchen since I have Oranges and Carrots why not blend these two make a smoothie and enjoy the afternoon.

I always believe that feeding yourself with good and healthy food is the best defense you can give your body and boost your immune system. This carrot and orange smoothie is so easy to do and gives you that refreshing feeling.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Peel the Carrots and cut into quarters. Put in the blender and add 1/2 cup of water blend until smooth
  • Peel the Oranges cut into quarters and remove seeds if any. Blend and add more water if needed until the combination becomes smooth

Benefits: Carrots are rich in vitamins, minerals, fiber and a good source of antioxidants. Oranges is known for its good source of vitamin C.

There you have it a simple treat and refreshment you can enjoy anytime of the day!
