This cinnamon roll up uses vegan wholemeal sliced bread which I got from the local grocery store, you can use any sliced bread of your choice.

The best thing about these vegan sliced bread cinnamon roll ups, we will also toast the crusts and turn them into cinnamon breadsticks.

If you are not a fan of bread crusts then this cinnamon breadstick will surely delight you. All you have to do is repeat the process of dipping the crusts with the milk then the cinnamon mixture. It is just as good as these cinnamon roll ups.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Rolling pin
  • 2 small bowls
  • Skillet
  • Baking Mat
  • Knife

SUBSTITUTIONS

Sliced bread – use any choice of bread as long as you can easily flatten it and roll.

Oat milk – for this recipe I use unsweetened oat milk. It is better to use unsweetened milk because we will roll the sliced bread in the sugar.

Butter – I use plant-based butter.

Sugar – I use natural brown sugar, you can also use white sugar just make sure it’s also vegan.

Vegan Sliced Bread Cinnamon Roll Ups

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 pcs wholemeal bread
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder (Ceylon)
  • ¼ – ½ cup unsweetened oat milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in one bowl and milk is in the other bowl.
  • Remove the crust of the bread by cutting the sides and setting it aside.
  • Flatten the bread with a rolling pin.
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon powder before rolling (optional).
  • Roll the bread, dip in the milk, and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Toast in the skillet with melted butter.
  • Be sure to turn the other side for even toasting.
  • Do the same with the crusts.
  • Serve and enjoy.

  • You can also bake these vegan sliced bread cinnamon roll ups for 20 minutes at 350F and be sure to flip for even toasting.
  • If using more bread in making this recipe, just add more sugar another 1/4 cup and milk is about half cup.
  • This recipe is great for breakfast and afternoon snacks.
  • You can use any dairy-free milk of your choice.
