You can also use and add fresh turmeric and ginger to this recipe. I opted for powder as it’s more convenient for me and I just ran out of fresh ginger as I always use it in flavoring my homemade kombucha.
If using fresh ingredients you need to boil them together with the water in the pot then strain after boiling and add milk (optional), a pinch of pepper, cinnamon, and maple syrup as a sweetener.

VEGAN TURMERIC GINGER TEA
INGREDIENTS
- Oat milk
- Turmeric powder
- Ginger powder
- Cinnamon
- Pinch of pepper
- Maple syrup
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat pot and add milk.
Add all dry ingredients and mix.
Give a good mix and turn off the stove once the pot starts to boil.
Use a strainer to filter the ingredients (optional).
Add maple syrup and stir.
Serve and Enjoy.
SUBSTITUTIONS
- Use other dairy-free milk of your choice, choose unsweetened.
- Use water instead of milk or use ½ cup of both.
